Ludlow is a market town in Shropshire, England, 28 miles (45 km) south of Shrewsbury and 23 miles (37 km) north of Hereford via the main A49 road, which bypasses the town. With a population of approximately 11,000, Ludlow is the largest town in South Shropshire. The town is significant in the history of the Welsh Marches and neighbouring Wales.

Many buildings have Lime Render which can accumulate what we call mustard algae, thick blooms of spores and micro-organisms. When situated so close to a river and nature such as woodlands, forests microbes spread a lot quicker.

By having a SoftWash treatment you sanitize the surface with a treatment to prevent further growth.

Bleach is often used with water to kill growth on your walls. However when you have this on a larger scale it much safer to use a SoftWash System mixed with greenwash as you can use safer, weaker solutions of bleach. Bleach combined with Greenwash acts as a catalyst and a biocide so really helps to prevent further growth on the surface.

It’s recommended that you treat the area as soon as you see any green algae appear. By using Bleach (Sodium hypochlorite mixed with greenwash) this will remove the algae and treat the area living a clean fresh looking Lime render.

When using bleach it would be careful to consider the run off, Small pets, fish and even children can be affected if consumed, Final Wash would be recommended to put down after the treatment to make safe the areas for children and pets. By neutralizing he area you can be sure that the area is safe.
